1. About these terms

These terms of service apply to your use of the FitSamen app and related services, provided by [Company name] ("we", "us", "FitSamen"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

2. The service

FitSamen is a trilingual (NL/EN/TR) health & fitness community app. Users can track their progress (weight, body measurements, weekly check-ins with photos), share posts in groups, connect with buddies and send messages, and optionally engage a personal coach (trainer) through a paid subscription for booking appointments and sharing check-ins.

3. Account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
• One account is allowed per person.
• At registration you give explicit consent for the processing of health data (weight, measurements, photos) as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Subscriptions (Coach)

• A coach subscription gives access to check-ins, coaching features, and booking appointments with a linked trainer.
• Subscriptions are purchased and paid for through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play, and renew automatically unless cancelled in time.
• Cancel through your App Store or Google Play account settings — not through FitSamen directly.
• Prices and any trial periods are shown in the store before purchase.
• Refunds are handled under Apple's or Google's refund policy; we are not able to issue refunds ourselves.

5. Community guidelines

We want a safe, motivating environment for everyone. The following is never allowed and will not be tolerated — zero tolerance:

• Harassment, bullying, stalking or threats.
• Hate speech or discrimination based on origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability or body type.
• Spam, unsolicited advertising or commercial solicitation.
• Sharing unsubstantiated medical claims or dangerous health advice.
• Sharing content that violates the privacy of others.

You can report content or users using the report feature in the app. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours. Violations may result in content removal, a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent account removal — at our moderation team's discretion, depending on severity.

7. Intellectual property

Content you post yourself (posts, photos, messages) remains your property. By posting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display this content within the app to other users, for as long as your account or the content exists. The FitSamen name, logo and the app itself are the property of [Company name] and may not be used without permission.

8. Liability

FitSamen is provided "as is". We do not guarantee any specific results, such as weight loss or achieving a fitness goal. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in subscription fees in the preceding 12 months.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time yourself via the app (Account → Delete account). We may suspend or remove your account if you violate these terms or the community guidelines described in Section 5.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will communicate material changes through the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
